Our world is changing. And so are we. From our commitment to zero-carbon flight (#ZEROe) to cleaning up space, sustainability is at the heart of our purpose. So what's your next change? Step into a pivotal leadership role at Airbus, where you will shape the industrial performance of critical commercial and defense programmes, including the A220, A320, A350, and A400M. Leading a dynamic, transnational team across the UK and North America, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic supplier development and safeguarding the supply chain against operational risks. This is an exceptional opportunity for an influential leader to excel in a demanding operational environment, directly impacting Airbus' global Final Assembly Lines and pioneering continuous improvement strategies that define the future of aerospace manufacturing.
How You Will Contribute to the Team
- Ensure total on-time and on-quality delivery to Final Assembly Lines and Section Build sites across Airbus, Airbus Defense and Space, and Airbus Canada by establishing robust preventative measures.
- Shift operations from reactive problem-solving to proactive supplier management, utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), capacity management, and comprehensive risk mitigation for Transfers of Work (ToW) and New Product Introductions.
- Direct, develop, and upskill a geographically dispersed team located in Filton and North America, fostering a culture centered on "management by fact" and data-driven operational excellence.
- Partner with supplier top management to align their industrial policies with Airbus expectations, driving performance improvements through SQIP programs and QSR (Quality Escape) Prevention plan reviews.
- Act as the premier Supply Chain & Quality representative within the Multi-Functional Team (MFT), directly influencing key strategic decisions such as sourcing strategies and Call For Tenders, while decisively leading responses to operational crises.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
