Scovai, a forward-thinking organisation operating within the Talent Acquisition & Recruiting sector and renowned for its innovative approach to workforce intelligence, is conducting a confidential Director-level search for a Head of Sustainable Finance. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned sustainable finance leader to shape and own the ESG-integrated investment strategy of a progressive organisation, building a best-in-class sustainable finance function from the ground up. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 12 years of experience spanning sustainable finance, ESG advisory, and climate finance, and will serve as the internal authority on all matters relating to green and sustainability-linked financial products.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead the origination and structuring of green bonds and sustainability-linked lending facilities
- Develop a comprehensive sustainable finance product suite
- Drive rigorous climate risk analytics across the organisation
- Ensure full compliance with TCFD, SFDR, and UK Green Taxonomy regulatory frameworks, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategy
- Cultivate relationships with institutional ESG investors, regulators, and internal business units to embed sustainability across financial decision-making

This is an exceptional opportunity to define the sustainable finance agenda at a Director level, influencing both commercial outcomes and long-term environmental impact. You will operate with significant autonomy, contribute to thought leadership, and play a defining role in positioning the organisation as a credible and ambitious participant in the global sustainable finance ecosystem.
Requirements
- Practical experience obtaining green bond certifications and third-party verifications (e.g., Climate Bonds Initiative, ICMA alignment)
- Deep familiarity with sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks (ISSB, TCFD-aligned disclosures, EU Taxonomy, SFDR)
- Track record in investor relations and capital markets origination across jurisdictions, including syndication, ratings engagement, and institutional investor stewardship
- Expertise implementing ESG data platforms, data governance, and analytics (ESG APIs, alternative data integration, automated reporting)
- Experience with impact measurement and outcomes frameworks (IRIS+, GIIN metrics, outcomes-based KPIs)

- CFA or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience with blended finance structures
- Working knowledge of EU Taxonomy requirements
