Active Neuro is seeking an exceptional Head of Therapies to lead our specialist neurorehabilitation service at Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. This senior therapist role is perfect for a clinical leader who thrives on driving innovation, delivering excellent patient outcomes, and advancing rehabilitation practice.
You will lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team while maintaining a clinical caseload of 25%, modelling advanced therapeutic practice. You will own assessment and admissions, ensuring timely, high-quality decisions that drive excellent patient outcomes and support service growth. You will work with robotic exoskeletons, anti-gravity treadmills, and advanced upper and lower limb technologies, pioneering the use of assistive technology in rehabilitation. You will drive outcomes measurement and UKROC reporting to evidence clinical impact and demonstrate value to payers.
This role requires specialist expertise in neurological rehabilitation and experience leading services within a private or insurance-funded model of care. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic, professional, and operational leadership for Therapy Services within Active Neuro. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing MDT, fostering clinical excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Maintain a specialist clinical caseload (25%), modelling advanced neurorehabilitation practice. Oversee pre-admission assessments and rehabilitation pathways, ensuring timely, outcome-focused decision-making. Drive a culture that embraces advanced rehabilitation technologies, including robotics, exoskeletons, and anti-gravity treadmills. Use outcome data and UKROC reporting to optimise pathways, demonstrate clinical impact, and support service sustainability. Work closely with insurers, commissioners, and external stakeholders, providing expert clinical insight. Lead on quality, governance, and audit activity, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and patient-centred care.
About You: Registered Allied Health Professional (HCPC) with extensive post-qualification experience. Advanced clinical expertise in neurological and/or spinal rehabilitation. Significant senior leadership experience in a private or insurance-funded rehabilitation service. Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop multidisciplinary teams. Experience in assessment, admissions, pathway management, and outcome measurement. Passionate about innovation, advanced rehabilitation technologies, and improving patient outcomes. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
