Head of Therapy - SEN School

We are currently supporting a highly regarded specialist independent school in the recruitment of an exceptional Head of Therapy (Senior Leadership role) to lead and further develop its established Multi-Disciplinary Therapy Team (MDT).

The school is an outstanding provision for children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated social, emotional, sensory, communication, and mental health needs.

This is a rare and strategic leadership opportunity within a setting where therapy is not an add-on, but fully embedded across the entire school experience.

The Setting The school operates a fully integrated therapeutic-educational model, underpinned by its ACE + Independence ethos: Adaptive Thinking Communication Emotional Wellbeing Independence

It is strongly committed to autism-informed, relational, and trauma-informed practice, with a focus on emotional safety, regulation, and developmental readiness as foundations for learning and progress.

Therapy is central to school life and is delivered collaboratively across education, family, and external professional networks.

The Role The successful candidate will take overall leadership responsibility for the school’s Multi-Disciplinary Team and will play a key strategic role in shaping therapeutic provision across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
