About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Trade Aftermarket to lead and develop our UK Aftermarket Business Unit. Managing a team of five, you will drive strategic growth across a portfolio of key customers including buying groups, distributors, specialists, and independent motor factors. This role carries full P&L responsibility and plays a critical part in delivering long-term business growth.

  • Develop and execute the UK Trade Aftermarket strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Manage strategic customer relationships, including ITG members and key accounts.
  • Own contract negotiations, commercial agreements, and business reviews.
  • Deliver annual promotional plans in collaboration with Product and Marketing teams.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • Ensure successful product launches and strong in-store and online execution.
  • Drive continuous business growth by identifying new opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • Oversee forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking for the business unit.

Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in the Automotive Aftermarket (essential).
  • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership experience.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering growth.
  • Experienced in managing omni-channel customers (trade, retail, e-commerce).
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong networker with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Highly organised, results-driven, and operates with integrity.
