About Us

OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions. The team's execution has been exceptional, and we're scaling at a remarkable pace. Our stellar early team comes with experience in companies like J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, Polygon, Kraken, Nium, and others. We're backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NfX, and other top-tier investors.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Head of Trade Operations to own and scale the global trade and treasury operations function end to end. This is a senior leadership role: you will lead the TradeOps team, set the operating model that keeps trades settling flawlessly across time zones and currencies, and act as the operational backbone for a business processing rapidly growing cross-border volume.

This role sits at the center of the company. You will partner closely with Product, Partnerships, Finance, and Business Operations to make sure operational readiness is designed into everything we ship, every corridor we open, and every banking relationship we build. You will take a function that runs well today and build it into one that runs with excellence at 10x the volume, with the controls, automation, and talent to match.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Operations Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end trade lifecycle: execution, booking, confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement across all currencies and corridors.
  • Set the global operating model and coverage framework so trades settle accurately and on time across IST, GMT, and US time zones.
  • Drive down settlement discrepancies and operational breaks through process design, controls, and system improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
