Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Head of Trade Sales role based in the United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home for part of the week. The Head of Trade Sales will develop and execute the trade sales strategy across key channels, including travel trade, tour operators, group sales, and corporate partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and negotiating with new trade partners, managing existing accounts, and building long-term commercial relationships to drive revenue and visitor numbers. The role will involve setting sales targets, monitoring performance, producing regular reports, and collaborating closely with marketing, operations, and finance to align trade activities with wider business objectives. The Head of Trade Sales will also oversee pricing strategies, trade promotions, attendance forecasting, and participation in industry events and trade shows to strengthen KYS Limited’s market presence.

Qualifications

- Substantial experience in trade sales, ideally within attractions, theme parks, leisure, travel, or hospitality, with a track record of delivering revenue growth through partners.
- Strong skills in account management, relationship building, and commercial negotiation with travel trade, tour operators, and group sales partners.
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies, set and manage targets, and use data to monitor performance and optimise results.
- Comfort working in a startup or high-growth environment, with the ability to build processes from the ground up and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading or mentoring sales teams or cross-functional project groups, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using CRM and standard sales tools.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and industry events as required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of the UK attractions and theme park market is highly desirable; international trade experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
