Head of Treasury
Location: Bristol (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £130,000–£160,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We're partnering with a leading UK financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Head of Treasury to lead a well-established treasury function during an exciting period of growth.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on liquidity management, cash optimisation and treasury governance within a highly cash-generative business. While the position retains oversight of tax, the technical tax work is fully supported by external advisers, allowing the successful candidate to concentrate on treasury strategy and stakeholder leadership.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Director of Financial Control, you'll lead the treasury function, providing oversight of liquidity, cash forecasting, banking relationships and financial risk management while partnering closely with senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation's treasury function and provide strategic direction.
- Oversee liquidity management, cash forecasting and cash deployment.
- Manage relationships with banking partners and financial counterparties.
- Monitor treasury risk, including liquidity, interest rate and counterparty exposure.
- Drive continuous improvement across treasury processes, controls and reporting.
- Provide oversight of outsourced Corporation Tax and VAT compliance through external advisers.
- Partner with Finance, Risk and senior stakeholders across the business.
About You
We're interested in speaking with experienced treasury professionals who have:
- Significant treasury leadership experience within financial services, banking or asset management.
- Strong expertise in liquidity management, cash forecasting and treasury operations.
- Experience managing banking relationships and treasury risk.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Previous leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Whilst exposure to tax governance is advantageous, deep technical tax expertise is not essential, as specialist tax compliance is managed externally.
