Experienced Operational Leader Needed

Are you an experienced operational leader ready to drive end-to-end service delivery for a global financial institution within their market-leading Transfer Agency team?

I am recruiting for a Head of UK Transfer Agency to lead a rapidly expanding UK Transfer Agency Operations team which currently sits at 65 people with plans of growing to 100.

In this high-impact, strategic leadership role, you will hold accountability for driving operational excellence, maintaining a robust risk and control environment, and shaping the future operating model of the UK Transfer Agency function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Lead UK Transfer Agency operations across dealing, investor servicing, core recordkeeping, settlements, and reconciliations—ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely end-to-end delivery.
  • Governance & Control Environment: Own the TA operating model, risk framework, operational resilience, and audit/regulatory readiness across all recordkeeping and processing activities.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Provide senior oversight for client, distributor, and fund governance interactions. Manage high-level escalations, monitor service performance, and ensure strict adherence to SLAs and contractual commitments.
  • Strategic Vision & Continuous Improvement: Set the long-term strategy for UK TA processes, driving data quality enhancements and technology change initiatives.
  • People & Financial Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team while overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and workforce strategy for the UK TA organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
