Watch Collecting is one of the most compelling verticals in the luxury collectibles space, and we're building it to be a global brand. We're looking for someone to own it end to end - strategy, people, commercial performance and scale it into a category defining business within Collecting.com.

The Role: This is a general management role at its core. You'll set the direction, grow the existing team, and be accountable for the P&L. But unlike a lot of GM roles, this one has real commercial teeth. The watch market runs on relationships, reputation, and timing, and the person we want understands that deeply. They know the collectors, the dealers, the auction dynamics, and they bring a network that gets us into rooms we couldn't access otherwise. Watch Collecting sits within Collecting.com, our central marketplace infrastructure set to house multiple auction verticals. You'll have the backing of a scaled platform, a performance driven culture, and an aggressive expansion roadmap across Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. The job is to build the organisation, the people, the processes and the partnerships that makes Watch Collecting the default destination for serious collectors globally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
