HEAD OF WHOLESALE - MATERNITY COVER CONTRACT

The Head of Wholesale will be responsible for the development of our wholesale distribution across all categories on a global scale.

You will lead the acquisition of new strategic accounts as well as maximizing the opportunities with our current customer base.

A natural leader, you will be influential across all areas of Emilia Wickstead to ensure we meet our commercial targets whilst enhancing our culture.

Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Create the commercial sales strategy to achieve both short term and long term commercial targets
  • Deliver new business opportunities and customers to develop our global business and enhance brand awareness
  • Collaborate with key strategic accounts to achieve mutual sales growth via product selection
  • Provide commercial insights on the collection development including recommending capsule collections with strategic accounts to maximize turnover
  • Build and maintain commercial relationships with key industry players and accounts
  • Lead and execute the wholesale showroom each season for all categories (RTW, Accessories, Homeware, Footwear and Swimwear) across all markets (New York, London and Paris) utilizing our brands guidelines
  • Negotiating trading terms to maximize business revenue whilst nurturing relationships
  • Create the Emilia Wickstead store and e-commerce buys per season to showcase the collection in our direct to consumer channels.
  • Carry out trainings to all relevant accounts to ensure retailer teams are aligned with the brand image and ethos
  • Create and distribute commercial assets including line sheets to support the customer journey.
  • Plan the exit stock strategy, analysing margins to maximise the company’s profitability

Analytics:

  • Create merchandising plans per season to provide guidelines to the design team on commercial skus and key fabrics per collection
  • Develop best in class sales reports on top-selling styles, fabrics, SKUs and categories both sell in and sell out
  • Prepare detailed pricing pyramids to ensure the collection meets key price points for each category
  • Analyse the weekly sell through reports to capture current trends and provide feedback to the management team

Team:

  • Develop, motivate and recruit your direct reports leading to long term succession planning
  • Lead the wholesale and logistics teams to maximize sales potential per market and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Deliver seasonal store trainings to the members of staff

The ideal person will have:

  • +4 years in the luxury fashion industry in a sales leadership role
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue with authenticity
  • An extensive global network within the luxury industry
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Will speak fluent English (and other languages are a plus)
  • London Fashion Week, E-commerce shoots and creative campaign experience
  • A strong understanding of the fashion production process
  • Knowledge of Zedonk and Shopify would be a plus

Please note that this is a Maternity Leaver cover contract for 9-12 months.
