Your role
The Head of Workspace Services will develop, deliver and communicate the Workspace Services strategy at Softcat in support of Softcat's overall Technology Strategy. You will work with other business leaders to ensure service departments are prepared to act efficiently and effectively to maximise returns on product and service investments to deliver a relevant and aligned proposition to new and existing customers.
As Head of Workspace Services, you'll be responsible for:
- Accountable for the Workspace Services strategy and ensuring it is centred around supporting and driving Softcat sales performance
- Working with the sales leadership team and appropriate sellers, ensuring that the Workspace Services sales achieves budget YoY
- Acting as a permanent member of the Tech Tower Councils, representing key stakeholders in the councils and related meetings, providing clear direction and regular communications
- Chairing the Service Councils for Workspace, ensuring we have the right services in the portfolio and driving collaboration to ensure high quality customer experience
- Champion the priorities across Workspace services for all relevant customers, in alignment with the sales strategy
- Ensuring that the delivery teams responsible for delivering the Workspace Services strategy are well aligned and supported. Working with the various department leads to ensure relevant processes, capacity and customer centricity is in place to support Softcat goals
- Managing technology opportunities to ensure Softcat continue to deliver solutions across the portfolio

We'd love you to have
- A leader in technology innovation, skilled at engaging stakeholders, executives, and suppliers with a fully commercial approach
- Experience from a previous Workspace services role or senior technologist role across multiple sectors
- Experience operating at a senior leadership level either as an individual contributor or leading teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal & influencing skills, proven history of building and maintaining relationships across the wider business and with an established network of senior level industry contacts.
- Passionate about developing teams and individuals and working across departments to deliver specific outcomes.
