Head of Year (Non-Teaching), WESTMINSTER ACADEMY
Westminster Academy has a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and dedicated Head of Year (Non-Teaching) to oversee the effective running of a year group, including the achievement, progress, attendance and pastoral support for all pupils within their year. The post holder will also provide high quality leadership of the pastoral team and the year group, and contribute to the leadership capacity of the Academy.
Our ideal Head of Year (Non-Teaching) will be calm, solution focused, have excellent interpersonal skills and will champion high standards and a strong culture of belonging, helping students to develop the character, confidence and resilience needed to thrive both academically and personally. If you are an ambitious and highly motivated individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a tangible difference to their educational experience, we would love to hear from you.

Experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work, or social care setting. Can quickly build positive, professional relationships with students, families and colleagues. Has high expectations of behaviour, attendance, punctuality and conduct. Remains calm, resilient and solution-focused under pressure. Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every student can succeed. Can analyse information and use data to identify concerns and drive improvement. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
