Role: Head of Finance – Supply Chain & Operations Location: Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire Border (Hybrid: 2 days in office) Salary: Up to £115,000 + Car Allowance + Executive Bonus + Corporate Benefits Company: Leading FTSE 250 International Retailer / Brand
Our team has been engaged by a multi-billion-pound turnover FTSE 250 brand to find a strategic Head of Finance. This critical leadership role holds full financial accountability for a complex, £multi-billion operational cost base. You will serve as the primary financial co-pilot to the executive teams driving the brand's international engine room.
The Opportunity You will inherit, lead, and upskill a high-performing team of 5 finance professionals. Your mission is to steer the commercial & operational finance function through a fast-paced, highly visible, and complex corporate ecosystem undergoing significant change.

Key stakeholder partnerships include: Operations: Driving macro-efficiency and strategic transformation alongside the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Supply Chain & Logistics: Steering global logistics, warehousing, and infrastructure with the Supply Chain Director.
You'll be involved in: Executive Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the COO and Supply Chain Director, challenging performance and driving profitability. Strategic Control: Own the end-to-end financial management, budgeting, and forecasting for a £multi-billion cost base. Change & Transformation: Lead financial workstreams for large-scale supply chain overhaul and operational change projects. Team Governance: Manage and develop a team of 5, elevating their capabilities into a best-in-class commercial unit.
Your background: Experience: Essential background in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operational finance business partnering. Transformation: Proven track record operating successfully within a highly transformative environment undergoing significant change. Scale: Clear experience within large-scale, complex environments (£1BN+ turnover businesses). Corporate Profile: Deep experience within large listed (PLCs) or Private Equity (PE) backed structures. Leadership: Strong history of managing, mentoring, and developing multi-person finance teams. Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
