Due to continued expansion, both in the UK and abroad, George Scott Racing is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head person to join our successful and progressive team at Eve Lodge Stables in Newmarket.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an ambitious operation with runners at the highest level both in the UK and internationally.
The Role
Working closely with George Scott, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the yard, ensuring the highest standards of horse care, staff organisation, and stable management are maintained.

The successful applicant will lead by example, have excellent attention to detail, and be passionate about producing racehorses to perform at their best.
Essential Requirements
- A capable and confident rider
- Excellent horse management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- High standards of organisation and attention to detail.
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a young professional team.
- Previous experience as a Head Lad Person or Assistant Head Person
