Location: Newquay / Truro sites

Contract: Permanent

Hours: FULL TIME

Salary: 30k DOE

We're looking for a welcoming, organised, and proactive Head Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis, working across our Newquay and Truro practices.

This is a varied and rewarding role with a flexible work pattern that includes a mixture of early and late shifts, as well as participation in our Saturday rota. The good news – there is no bank holiday working.

We're seeking someone who enjoys working in a busy and fast-paced environment and genuinely cares about delivering an outstanding client experience. The client journey should be at the heart of everything you do, from the first phone call to every interaction that follows.

We are a friendly team with a shared passion for animal care and exceptional client service. Working collaboratively across both sites and alongside colleagues in our wider region, we support each other to provide the very best experience for our clients and patients.

If you're a natural people person, enjoy leading by example, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

As our Head Receptionist, you'll lead and support the reception team, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the client-facing side of the practice.

You'll act as a role model for excellent customer service while providing guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
