Location: Pennine Vets, Tottington and Harwood, Greater Manchester
Pennine Vets are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join our wonderful team. This pivotal leadership role delivers exceptional, patient-centred care, drives clinical excellence, supports operational efficiency, and leads continuous service improvement.
Rota & Workplace
- 40 hours per week, across 4 days (Monday to Thursday)
- No out-of-hours (OOH) or on-call duties
- No Sundays

About Pennine Vets
Pennine Vets was established in 2004, with two practice sites in Tottington, Bury and Harwood, Bolton. Both locations work in tandem, offering high-quality veterinary care, surgery, and treatment, including routine procedures and pet consultations.
The practices cater to a varied caseload, with a focus on basic surgery and consultations, alongside exotic animals. Fronted by a well-supported team (three Veterinary Surgeons, six Nurses, and dedicated support staff), they operate in a modern, well-equipped environment featuring:
- Digital X-ray and ultrasound facilities
- Separate cat and dog wards
- In-house comprehensive laboratory services

About You
You’ll be a natural leader passionate about:

- 10+ years of veterinary experience, with a strong clinical track record
