Head Waiter
As a Restaurant Head Waiter, you will lead the restaurant floor team to deliver exceptional, seamless dining experiences for all guests. You will coordinate service flow between the restaurant, kitchen, and bar teams to maintain the highest standards, mentor and support junior waiters, ensuring consistent training and development across the team, and act as a key point of contact for guest requests, ensuring all needs are handled promptly and professionally. You will also assist with VIP and special event service, ensuring memorable experiences for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter or senior waiter in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Excellent guest service skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and mentor junior team members.
- A professional, polished appearance and approach.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the restaurant floor during service.
- Train and guide junior waiters to uphold service standards.
- Liaise with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Provide exceptional guest service, handling requests and feedback professionally.
- Support with VIP guest experiences, private dining, and events as required.
