Total Airport Management (TAM) Director of Services

About the Role

Are you ready to shape the future of airport operations and drive sustainable growth in Total Airport Management (TAM)?

Purpose

You will lead the definition, build-out and growth of SITA’s TAM Transformation & Services business within the Airport Business Unit (BU), establishing a new strategic team focused on:

  • End-to-end service model for TAM adoption, including operating model transformation and data services.
  • Value realisation for airports through AI-enabled TAM use cases.
  • A globally integrated, commercially viable services delivery model, spanning transformation and managed data services.
  • Scaling services revenue while ensuring profitability through a centrally-managed, globally distributed team.

You’ll collaborate closely with TAM Product & Innovation to deliver a cohesive strategy that balances transformation, adoption and data enablement while driving airport CXO engagement and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership, Strategy & Performance

  • Define the TAM services strategy, operating model, and performance framework in partnership with TAM Product & Innovation.
  • Own business performance, including:
    • Revenue and profitability targets.
    • Pipeline growth and customer value realisation.
  • Build, lead and scale a centrally managed, globally distributed TAM services team.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for:
    • TAM Transformation and managed data services.
  • Shape customer opportunities, business cases, and commercial models to:
    • Accelerate TAM adoption and drive services growth.
    • Convert strategic opportunities into contracted services based on collaboration with Global Execution Offices (GEOs) and Airport BU teams.

Service Delivery & Customer Value Realisation

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of:
    • TAM transformation.
    • AI-enabled use cases.
    • Managed data services.
  • Ensure adherence to performance commitments in terms of quality, cost, and ROI.
  • Drive customer adoption and maturity through:
    • KPI-based measurements.
    • Operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage service partners and delivery capacity with:
    • Clear governance frameworks.
    • Strong compliance and quality oversight.

Transformation, Adoption & Market Leadership

  • Lead CxO and senior stakeholder engagements to:
    • Promote TAM-enabled airport transformation.
    • Collectively align across airports, TAM capabilities, and customer roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with TAM Product & Innovation to:
    • Translate TAM solutions into practical business cases.
    • Create TEams to realise measurable ROI and operational impact.
  • Strengthen SITA’s market leadership in TAM solutions.

Matrix Leadership & Organisational Collaboration

  • Partner seamlessly with TAM Product & Innovation to deliver the swift growth of the overall TAM strategy.
  • Leverage Airport Business Consulting expertise (e.g., methodologies, templates) to optimise:
    • Transformation delivery.
    • Services performance at scale.
  • Work across central, regional and Airport BU teams to maintain consistent TAM services deployment globally.

Requirements

Experience

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in:
    • Airport operations and/or transformation.
    • Commercial or technology-driven businesses.
    • Projects requiring entrepreneurial growth and scaling of service businesses.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Airport operations (preferably a leading role).
    • Transformation programmes, value realisation frameworks.
    • Data platforms, analytics, or AI-enabled airport solutions.
    • Commercial leadership with:
      • P&L ownership.
      • GTM pipeline management.
      • Revenue/growth expansion ranging from negotiation to retention.
      • Margin monitoring and cross-functional service delivery.
  • Proven capability in collaborating across product & innovation teams, translating TAM capabilities into:
    • Customer roadmaps.
    • Transformational roadmaps.
  • Experience within global, distributed teams with:
    • Oversight of service partners and managed delivery functionalities.
  • Executive presence and credibility with:
    • Airport directors.
    • Senior operational stakeholders.
