About the Role
Are you an inspiring leader passionate about helping young people with special educational needs (SEND) thrive? Aspris is seeking an exceptional Headteacher to join Roehampton Gate School, a leading specialist provider of education services across the UK.
Asprus is proud to be the largest provider of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) educational pages nationwide, offering tailored support through 30+ specialist schools. We are expanding further with innovative provisions like Putney Vale, our dedicated post-16 facility.
As Headteacher, you will lead with strategic vision, drive inclusive excellence, and create an inspiring learning environment for pupils aged 8–19. Based at a purpose-built day school spanning three sites, your role will shape our local communities, uplift inclusive practices, and guide our pupils toward lifelong independence.
About Roehampton Gate School
Roehampton Gate School is a day school specifically designed for young people with autistic spectrum disorders (ages 8–19). Located on Priory Lane, it features:
- State-of-the-art, modern facilities accommodating up to 70 pupils
- Specialist areas for IT, art, food technology, science, music
- Sensory suites and therapy rooms tailored to supporting neurodiversity
- Integral links to educational rich experiences such as enterprise and volunteering opportunities

Key Responsibilities
To succeed, you must deliver exceptional leadership through:
- Developing and leading a visionary curriculum aligned with inclusivity and Aspris’s values
- Fostering an excellent, engaging learning culture for both colleagues and pupils
- Mentoring staff to build a positive, collaborative team
- Cooperating with families, local providers, and adult services
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, teaching and pupil outcomes
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted and statutory requirements
Person Profile & Requirements
You are the candidate we’re looking for if: ✅ You have a determined sense of purpose and are determined to improve education pathways for children with ASD ✅ You demonstrate visionary leadership, motivating performance and culture-building in your team ✅ You can speak confidently with all stakeholders: governors, parents, government/regulatory bodies ✅ You are driven to increase inclusion, safeguarding standards, and well-being initiatives ✅ Familiarity with Ofsted, Dyslexia, ASD/EHCP, and continuing professional development is ideal
