Key Responsibilities
This role is predominantly site-based and includes:
- Conducting site inspections and audits
- Producing comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
- Supporting and conducting detailed accident and incident investigations
- Delivering toolbox talks and training sessions (clinched with confidence!)
- Advising clients on legislative compliance and best practices
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives as needed
You’ll work independently while remaining part of a fully supportive team, with only occasional overnight travel (~1 per fortnight).
Requirements
Essential:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience in construction or civil engineering
- Field-based mindset—prefers site work to an office environment
- Ability to self-manage workloads and work autonomously
- Experience with inspections, audits, and investigations
- Comfortable delivering training and presentations to diverse audiences
- A practical, problem-solving approach to health and safety
- Personable, honest and team-oriented—collaboration is key
