Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Radlett (and surrounding areas) Contract: Permanent - 40 hours per week Salary: Circa £40,000 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30 / 15:00 (8.5-hour shifts)

About the Role
The Health and Safety General Manager, covering the DPD Network, is seeking an outstanding Health & Safety Advisor to join a highly experienced team. This role involves driving high standards of Health and Safety across various sites by ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting investigations and providing guidance to operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular onsite visits during critical operational periods to monitor and ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies.
- Deliver clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to improve compliance at sites.
- Support health and safety investigations and record findings in relevant reporting systems.
- Collaborate with the T AX and contribute to compliance and improvement projects.

- Proficiency in Microsoft packages (e.g., Excel, Word) or Google Suite.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum experience: Previous role in supportive compliance or Health and Safety (no strict degree requirements).
- Legal knowledge: Understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting legislation.
- Must hold a full valid driving licence. Willingness to travel and adapt to variable shift patterns to meet business demands.

Training Commitment
If not already qualified, the role requires completion of a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) within the first three years of employment.
