Health, Safety & Environment Advisor | South-West | up to £45,000 (inc. £5,000 car allowance)
Want to lead on HSE projects within the Energy & Infrastructure space?
PT Renewables is exclusively partnered with a established and growing energy design and construction business based in the South-West.
Due to their continued success, they are looking to bring onboard a brand-new Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to deliver H&S advice to multiple clients across the South-West.
About the Role
As a SHE Advisor, you’ll be the go-to person for all things Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability across multiple sites.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position, where your work directly shapes:
- The wellbeing of teams
- The success of projects

With a strong focus on sustainability, you’ll also play a key role in driving initiatives such as:
- Carbon reduction
- Waste minimisation
- Recycling
- Energy efficiency
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all HSE matters on site.
- Conduct inspections and audits to uphold high safety and environmental standards.
- Support teams with:
- Risk assessments
- Method statements
- Incident investigations
- Utilise our Digital Management System (DMS) and dashboards to track and improve performance.
- Collaborate with the SHEQ team to ensure:
- Legal compliance
- Company standard adherence

About You
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Knowledge of:
- CDM Regulations 2015
- Current environmental legislation
- Valid CSCS card
Bonus points if you also have:
- Fire Risk Assessment Certificate (or an equivalent IEMA Environmental Management Certificate).
- NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice.
- Membership of:
- IOSH
- IIRSM
- IEMA
- First Aid or Mental Health First Aider certification.
Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of experience in a similar role and want to:
- Gain ownership of HSE and sustainability responsibilities
- Work on a variety of exciting, forward-thinking projects
