Role Description

This is a part-time Health and Safety Advisor role based in Ringwood with a hybrid working arrangement, combining on-site client visits with some work from home. The Health and Safety Advisor will support clients by carrying out workplace risk assessments, audits, and inspections, and by providing clear, actionable advice to improve safety standards. In addition, the advisor will assist in developing and delivering health and safety training, supporting clients in embedding effective safety cultures and meeting Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety principles, Occupational Health considerations, and relevant UK legislation.
  • Experience with Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Background in Safety Training, with the ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions for varied audiences.
  • Understanding of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) frameworks and best practices.
  • Recognized health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent); higher-level qualifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret regulations, write clear reports, and communicate complex information in accessible language.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to visit client sites in and around Ringwood as required.
