Thomas Gray is currently supporting a well-established and highly respected organisation, recognised for its commitment to delivering safe, high-quality homes and investing in the wellbeing of both its customers and employees.
They are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract, joining a collaborative Health & Safety team during an exciting period of continued development and improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional looking to broaden their experience within a diverse organisation where safety is genuinely embedded into the culture. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of health and safety systems across the business, helping to ensure statutory compliance whilst promoting best practice across a varied operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of health and safety policies and procedures
- Coordinating accident and incident investigations
- Assisting with audits and inspections
- Overseeing health surveillance programmes, lone working arrangements, and PPE processes
- Contributing towards risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Working closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical advice and guidance while helping to drive a positive and proactive safety culture
Requirements:
- Organised and motivated Health & Safety professional with experience working within an operational health and safety environment
- Solid understanding of current health and safety legislation
- Experience supporting audits, investigations, and risk assessments
- Confidence to build effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is essential
- Genuine desire to continue developing your professional career within Health & Safety
