Are you ready to shape the future of safety in a fast-paced, technology-driven logistics environment?
At DHL Supply Chain, safety is more than a priority – it's at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a passionate and driven Health & Safety Manager to lead the health, safety and environmental agenda across a busy multi-customer semi-automated operation.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence site culture, partner with operational leaders, and drive meaningful change in a dynamic warehouse environment where innovation and continuous improvement are key. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our colleagues return home safely every day while helping to deliver exceptional service to our customers. If you're looking for a role where you can make a visible impact, develop stakeholder relationships and be part of a world-class logistics organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities across the site.
- Providing HSE & BCM advice, guidance, and support to enable the site to comply with all relevant statutory legislation.
- Driving business standardisation and supporting continued adherence to the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and other relevant HSE & BCM policies.
- Delivering annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives, measured through the performance management system.
- Assisting the central HSE function in delivering wider functional and business objectives.
- Coordinating and supporting the management team to take ownership of all HSE & BCM actions, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitoring site compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving corrective actions where required.
- Promoting a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement, and visible leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
