Your Role: Health and Safety Manager

As the Health and Safety Manager for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, you will:

  • Lead health and safety coordination across the Leavesden campus
  • Ensure compliance with external regulations, internal policies, and industry standards
  • Foster a proactive, safe, and legally compliant environment for both visitors and staff

Key Accountabilities

  • Compliance & Policy Management
    • Maintain up-to-date health and safety procedures that align with laws, internal policies, and industry benchmarks.
    • Develop and implement initiatives for hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control.

  • Operations & Implementation

    • Conduct regular walkarounds, inspections, and audits to evaluate facility safety, staff practices, and project execution.
    • Support operational teams, including project delivery, shutdowns, and day-to-day activities, such as Duty Management for an award-winning attraction.
  • Incident & Incident Response

    • Oversee incident investigations, risk trend analysis, and reporting.
    • Lead health and safety training and culture-building initiatives to promote adaptive practices.
  • Occupational Health & Wellbeing

    • Champion workplace safety policies and coordinate individual health-related assessments.
    • Work with stakeholders (including senior leadership) to communicate health and safety updates.
  • Integration with External Partners

    • Regulation-alignment across partnerships (e.g., monitoring supplier safety practices like HACCP).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Experience:

    • Public-facing environment experience, ensuring stakeholder alignment (especially at senior levels).
    • Preference for visitor attraction/leisure industry experience with sustained public interaction.
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate safety protocols to teams and engage in stakeholder collaboration.

    • Self-direction in interpreting legal documents, technical reports, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Expertise in workplace fire safety compliance.

Onsite Working

This role requires onsite presence for all working hours and days, with no remote flexibility under the current agreement. Changes may be requested subject to business needs and applicable law.
