Health & Safety Manager - Vorenta Head Office (Hybrid – 3 days per week) | National Travel | Salary from £55,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact across a diverse, multi-site organisation?
At Vorenta Group, we're looking for a proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead our health and safety strategy across the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll have the autonomy to shape our approach, influence positive change and ensure the highest standards of compliance and safety culture across our UK operations.
This is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, with regular travel to sites across Great Britain.

Vorenta Group brings together Hallmark Veterinary & Compliance Services and Meat & Livestock Classification (MLC), providing specialist services and resourcing solutions across the UK agrifood sector.
Working with organisations including Defra, APHA, the Food Standards Agency and leading food producers and retailers, we play a vital role in protecting food safety, animal welfare and public health.
The Role
As our Health & Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving our health and safety management systems across multiple sites.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining health and safety policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
- Conducting risk assessments, site inspections and compliance audits.
- Leading investigations into incidents and implementing preventative actions.
- Delivering engaging health and safety training across the business.
- Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring ongoing compliance with UK HSE requirements.
- Producing management reports, analysing trends and recommending improvements.
- Managing health and safety aspects of our vehicle fleet and PPE programme.
- Working closely with operational managers to embed a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, can work independently and has the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior Advisor role.
- Experience managing health and safety across multiple sites or field-based operations.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

A background in manufacturing would be highly advantageous, particularly within the food or meat processing industry, although this isn't essential. We're equally interested in candidates with the right attitude, strong technical knowledge and a hands-on approach.
