SK9 are proud to partner with a growing company based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone who are looking to add an experienced EHS Manager to their team. You'll take up the reins on all things Health and Safety for the company with the support of a health and safety administrator already in place.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- 4+ years’ EHS experience ideally in construction, electrical engineering or similar environment
- Relevant qualification in EHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety legislation
- Experience managing environmental and regulatory compliance
- Proven track record in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective actions
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Hands-on, practical approach with a focus on continuous improvement

Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop, implement and maintain the site EHS management system
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and permits
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures are in place
- Lead incident, accident and near-miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are completed
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, training and ongoing safety engagement initiatives
- Monitor workplace safety performance through audits, inspections and KPI reporting
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records and statutory reporting requirements
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and support external inspections and audits
- Promote safe systems of work and ensure compliance across all site activities
- Produce regular EHS reports and communicate key updates to senior management
