At Tate & Lyle Sugars, we’re searching for a Health & Safety Manager who can inspire, influence, and elevate safety performance across our flagship Thames Refinery. What you’ll lead A site‑wide safety vision that aligns with our global H&S ambitions. Maintain a robust auditing system to ensure risks are controlled and improvement areas identified. Behavioural safety programmes that genuinely shift mindsets. High‑quality investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Fire protection, contractor management, and compliance across a complex industrial and port‑based environment. Engagement across departments, functions, and global EHS networks.
Cross‑Functional Leadership Support Plaistow site during absences or incidents. Build strong partnerships across operations, commercial teams, and global EHS networks. Provide regular safety performance reports to regional and corporate EHS leaders. Ensure group standards are embedded locally. Collaborate with the Environment Manager—covering each other when needed.
