If you’re CMIOSH (or working towards it), and you hold both the NEBOSH General Certificate and Diploma, we’d love to support your development into a successful H&S trainer – even if you have no prior teaching experience.

Job Purpose, Tasks And Responsibilities
The main focus of our Health and Safety Trainer is to deliver our Health, Safety and Environmental training programmes, including accredited courses such as NEBOSH, IOSH and IEMA, as well as bespoke programmes for our multinational client base.
You will also contribute to learning design and course content development, provide tutor support, and assist with HS&E consultancy projects.

You will be responsible for:
Delivering IOSH and NEBOSH (and potentially IEMA) accredited training, predominantly via virtual classroom, with some face-to-face sessions at venues or client premises. Developing and updating course materials such as notes, PowerPoint presentations and lesson plans to meet syllabus or client needs. Providing subject matter expertise to support our Learning Design and Course Development team. Responding to learner queries via email, phone, discussion forums and LinkedIn, offering guidance on technical issues and learning requirements. Marking mock exams and providing feedback. Supporting learners with practical assignments. Managing tailored HS&E training projects with clients.

Essential And Desirable Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you need to have/ be:
Associate IOSH status as a mininum. Both the NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Diploma. A strong background in a Health and Safety role with up-to-date knowledge of current regulations. A confident communicator who can deliver complex information in an accessible way.
To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:
Experience delivering accredited H&S and Environmental training courses in-person and virtually. A proven track record of successfully delivering NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma and/or IEMA courses. Experience delivering NEBOSH Specialist Certificates and Awards. Experience developing high-quality training materials aligned with a syllabus or tailored to client specifications.
