Salary £29,000 - £32,500 per year + bonus + expenses
About the Role
Please only apply if you meet the following essential criteria:
- Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Adult Health & Social Care (Senior Carer level or above)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

This role would suit candidates with experience in Adult Care as a Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager, or an existing Health & Social Care Assessor.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’re recruiting a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners working towards apprenticeship qualifications across workplace settings.

- Assess, coach, and support learners as they develop key knowledge, skills, and behaviours for their qualifications.
- Conduct remote and on-site delivery across Guildford and surrounding areas, combining virtual sessions with planned workplace visits.
- Manage your own diary and workload to meet performance targets while ensuring learner progress.
- Learner sourcing is not required – all learners are pre-provided, allowing you to focus on teaching, coaching, and assessment.
This role may also be listed as an Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor, or Skills Coach.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement.
- Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching, and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards.
- Conduct workplace observations to assess practical competency.
- Review learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Support learners with Functional Skills (Maths & English) if required.
- Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA).
- Monitor learner progress to ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
- Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and learning environment standards at all times.
