Health and Social Care Assessor

Job Types: Full-time (40hrs), Permanent

Location: Rotherham (S63)

Salary: £25,000 – £32,000 (dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience)

About Us

Here at Care2Succeed we are a fully accredited national training provider, specialising in the training and education of those within the Health and Social Care sector.

We provide comprehensive training to staff teams in care units based across South Yorkshire, the Midlands, and the North West.

We are a constantly growing and expanding company and are looking to increase our motivated, enthusiastic, and committed Assessor team to support our growth.

The Role And Responsibilities

As one of our Assessors you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing Level 3 Diplomas in Residential Childcare; Children and Young People’s Workforce; or Management and Team Leading qualifications
  • Collaborating with learners to ensure the highest possible standards are achieved
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork associated with the role
  • Monitoring and reporting on learner progress and concerns

You will be working across a variety of Health and Social Care settings, including children’s homes, residential family centres, and supported living accommodation.

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience

  • A recognised Assessor Qualification (TAQA / A1 / D32/33 or equivalent)
  • Relevant work experience, preferably within the Health and Social Care sector (Children, Young People, and Families)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners
  • Ability to work as part of a team, or independently
  • Full driving licence with use of own vehicle and business insurance (essential)
  • Ability to travel to services in South Yorkshire, the Midlands, and the North West
