Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £39,862 to £41,771 per annum (Scale J) | Fire Service HQ, Wymondham
About the Role
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) seeks a proactive and positive Health and Wellbeing Adviser with experience in:
- Engaging with staff at all levels
- Coordinating access to occupational health and fitness testing
- Implementing data-led service improvements and benefits realisation
The role is responsible for ensuring all employees have access to health information, up-to-date services, and systems to promote wellbeing and healthier lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Human Resources (HR) and managers to:
- Establish appropriate wellbeing pathways and support options
- Coordinate access to essential health and wellbeing services
- Make regular visits to NFRS fire stations across Norfolk, including:
- Some evening visits to on-call stations (arranged flexibly)
- Opportunities to act as the ‘face of NFRS wellbeing’ for staff
- Ensure employees utilise services effectively and feel supported
- Hybrid and flexible working will be offered after an initial period at Fire Service HQ for integration into the wellbeing offer
