If so, you may be the right person to join and support our team! 🀝

We are looking for full-time Health and Wellbeing Officers to join our team on a fixed-term basis (due to finite funding ending March 2029).

The Council has been grant-funded Β£27m by the UK Government to deliver a Crisis and Resilience Fund over three years - April 2026 - March 2029. The bulk of the funding will be used to support residents through a range of in-house and grant-funded elements. A proportion of the funding is designated to cover staff costs needed to deliver and oversee the required governance, quality processes, and management information reporting.

Your work will be based in an area of Derbyshire, but there will be an expectation to provide coverage to other areas of Derbyshire as and when required. Flexibility is essential in this role.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates to use person-centred and asset-based approaches to build trusting relationships with individuals, who can gain an understanding of the person’s skills, passions, and talents, enabling them to build their vision of a good life and improve their health and wellbeing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
