Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be key in helping our young people with everyday living including helping in daily personal care, household tasks, accompanying the young person to appointments and daily plans whilst ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met.

The rewards of this role are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results on the young people in our care.

We specialise in providing best-in-class care and support for children and young people who have behaviours that may challenge, mental health needs and disabilities that need extra support. We endeavour to create an environment that exceeds the needs of the children and young people, enabling them to express their characters, feel safe, and enrich their lives.

Working as a Children’s Healthcare Assistant, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
