Health Care Assistant - Harrow
Personalised Support Carer at HFH Healthcare
Location: Harrow, HA1
Job Type:
- Full-Time
- Part-Time available (12-hour shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday days)
Salary: £12.50 – £16 per hour (enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays)
About the Client
Our client is a 35-year-old male living with juvenile Huntington’s disease. He is an independent and passionate individual who loves:
- Football
- Following Formula 1 (F1)
- Listening to R&B music
He lives at home with his mother and his older brother visits regularly.
He is a smoker, and we will support this in a safe, responsible manner if required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver defined aspects of care aligned with individualised care plans and HFH Healthcare policies.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing atmosphere to help achieve the client’s set goals.
- Develop strong clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new care team members.
- Supervise and delegate tasks, ensuring optimal coverage, particularly when supporting double shifts.
Key Strengths Required:
- Commitment to customised, person-centred care.
- Experience (or willingness to learn) in supporting individuals with neurological conditions.
- Strong ability to recognise and respond to individual needs.
- Engagement in ** team-oriented partnership**.
