About the Client
Our client, Marcus (39), is a former teacher with a rare clinical illness called neurosarcoidosis. His condition has led to paralysis, requiring:
- Ventilation support
- Mobility assistance in bed
- A tracheostomy
Marcus previously dedicated his career to supporting and educating young children, and we are seeking a compassionate carer who shares his passion for helping vulnerable individuals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic care aligned with individualised care plans and HFH Healthcare’s policies.
- Maintain a safe, supportive working environment through clear communication and teamwork.
- Assist clients in achieving personal goals with highly personalised care.
- Mentor new care team members in Marcus’s specific care needs.
- Supervise and delegate tasks, including double-covering shifts as required.

Requirements
We are searching for a carer with:
- Experience in supporting individuals with neurological conditions, ventilation support, or mobility limitations.
- A passion for caring and personalised support.
- Strong ability to communicate calmly with patients and teams.
- Comfort with working long, rotating shifts (_days **and nights).
Goodenough prior care experience is preferred but not strictly required for candidates with a strong dedication to high-quality, evidence-based care.
