We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

The Role

We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic team at Pre-Assessment Unit within the South Sector. We have been serving and sustained well established Pre Assessment service for our elective surgery patients. We constantly strive to provide great and safe care for our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working in surgical or medical units with advanced skills like phlebotomy, performing 12 leads ECG etc. Successful applicant will have opportunities to develop their skills further and join our dynamic, indulgent, and amiable team.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern

  • Duration: This is a permanent, full-time post.
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Location: The role is based at New Victoria Hospital, G42 9LL.
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

  • Caring disposition preferably with experience working in a caring environment/role.
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Ability to fulfil the requirement of the job description including undertaking training identified as a requirement for the post.
