Health Policy & Management — AI Data Trainer

About the Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) professionals to help train and refine AI models that millions of people will rely on for health information and policy analysis.

At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer, and more accurate AI systems. As a Health Policy & Management AI Data Trainer, your domain knowledge becomes the foundation for AI that gets public health right.


Organization & Commitment

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week (flexible)

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Build advanced case studies involving:
    • Disease outbreak simulations
    • Health equity assessments
    • Statistical interpretation of clinical trials
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop detailed, evidence-based responses using:
    • Peer-reviewed research
    • Epidemiological data
    • Authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and more)
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for:
    • Factual accuracy
    • Bias detection
    • Ethical adherence
    • Identification of misinformation and logical gaps in model reasoning
  • Refine Model Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback to improve AI’s ability to:
    • Distinguish correlation from causation
    • Communicate health risks clearly
    • Serve diverse populations equitably

Who You Are

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or closely related graduate degree
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of these domains:
    • Epidemiology
    • Biostatistics
    • Environmental Health
    • Health Policy
  • Analytical Communicator — Ability to translate complex health data into:
    • Clear, actionable content
    • Culturally sensitive written material
  • Detail-Oriented — Precision in:
    • Statistical interpretation
    • Data citation
    • Logical health intervention assessment
