About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join Canberra Health Services (CHS) and become part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
This role offers the opportunity to rotate across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, providing broad clinical exposure, diverse learning experiences, and excellent opportunities for professional growth.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will apply your assessment, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills to identify barriers affecting a person's ability to live independently. Working closely with patients and their families, you will develop practical solutions that support rehabilitation, safe discharge planning, and improved independence.
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative clinician who enjoys working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. In return, you will benefit from ongoing training, professional development, and broad clinical exposure.

A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:
- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
