The Role
In this role, you will support the Health & Safety Manager in planning, implementing, and maintaining the company's sustainable environmental, health, and safety programs. You will develop and manage a comprehensive occupational safety framework, conduct safety inspections, manage incident investigations, deliver training, and carry out related duties to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture across all departments and regions.

Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of Health & Safety systems, programs, and procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture through the Safety Committee and employee engagement initiatives.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify safety, environmental, and occupational hazards.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and provide practical health, safety, and environmental (HSE) improvement recommendations.
- Review and approve customer site risk assessments for ATC operations.
- Deliver tailored safety training, including monthly safety talks and health-prevention programs.
- Monitor contractor compliance with ATC safety policies.
- Act as a safety advisor on projects involving new or improved procedures.
- Travel up to 20% as required for site visits or training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
About You
- Relevant third-level qualification in EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar EHS role (essential).
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to train and engage employees effectively.
- Strong planning, organisation, time-management, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with initiative and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with resilience under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.

Desirable
- Experience with MS SharePoint for internal coordination.
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 or similar quality systems frameworks.
- Project management experience in health & safety or IT-related roles.
