Health & Safety Advisor
SHE Advisor (Health & Safety)

We’re looking to appoint a SHE Advisor (Health & Safety) to join our West Midlands team in Worcester (WR5 2RX). The role involves providing regional support to the Divisional SHE Director, implementing and supervising our Safety, Health and Environmental policy to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees and workers.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, develop, and implement SHE systems to guarantee our standards, performance, and compliance meet the highest order
- Provide support and advice to the Region and act as a representative for Regional Management in discussions with employees on SHE matters, as well as external organisations
- Strengthen Health & Safety management capability by improving the skills and knowledge of Miller personnel in the Region
- Conduct site visits and audits to verify compliance with specified safety procedures and standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the housebuilding sector
- NEBOSH certification (or equivalent)
- Experience in:
- Conducting audits and accident investigations
- Liaising with relevant statutory bodies
- Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, with integrity, presence, drive, determination, and natural enthusiasm
