Position Details
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + 33 Days Holiday + Life Assurance + Sick Pay Location: Andover, Hampshire

About the Role
An exciting, engineering-centric H&S Advisor/Officer position within a rapidly scaling SME, spanning two local manufacturing plants. This varied role blends shop-floor engagement with office-based quality training, with a focus on achieving ISO 45001 health & safety compliance while developing expertise across ISO 14001 environmental and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing health & safety issues, accidents, and near-misses in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Conducting internal & external H&S audits, tracking compliance and making process improvements
- Supporting the achievement of ISO 45001 accreditation
- Assisting in gaining ISO 14001 certification through environmental assessments and process control
- Direct training and mentorship in quality systems, processes, and best practices
- Split workload between office (8:30am–5:00pm) and shop-floor operations, with a 3.5-hour Friday finish

Requirements
- Experience as a Health & Safety Advisor/Officer (or equivalent)
- Background in engineering production or a related technical industry
- Highly motivated to learn and master quality systems, frameworks, and accreditations
