Health & Safety Auditor – Beck & Pollitzer
At Beck & Pollitzer, safety is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a proactive Health & Safety Auditor to join our UK SHEQ team and help drive excellence across our industrial installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Health & Safety audits and inspections across UK project sites.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and UK HSE legislation.
- Support accident, incident, and near miss investigations, including root cause analysis.
- Review RAMS and contractor documentation prior to site activities.
- Produce clear audit reports and monitor completion of agreed actions.
- Analyse audit trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ISO 45001 compliance and internal audit activities.
- Promote best practice and engage positively with site teams to improve Health & Safety performance.

Location
Burton upon Trent (with regular travel to project sites across the UK)
About You
You will be a practical and confident Health & Safety professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and building strong relationships across multiple sites.

Requirements
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Mechanical or electrical industry background, preferably with experience in construction or industrial project sites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
