Join us as a Health & Safety Business Partner within our Business Banking segment.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver a relationship-managed service to a portfolio of valued clients. You’ll build lasting relationships to grow the volume and value of your portfolio through consistently delivering high-quality customer interactions and experiences. As a key member of our team, you’ll be recognised for building trust and achieving long-term, sustainable value for our customers and colleagues.
What You'll Do
- Deliver excellent service to your portfolio of clients through:
- Face-to-face meetings
- Video calls
- Telephone conversations
- Email communications
- Use a proactive contact strategy to:
- Understand clients' needs
- Provide tailored, commercial, and profitable advice
- Encourage adoption and use of Mentor’s digital and self-service channels

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business growth through:
- Referrals
- Networking
- Business generation activities

Lead new business prospect meetings, including:
- Internal and external networking
- Relationship building
- Referrals for new customer leads

Collaborate with our Consultancy Delivery team to ensure service alignment with:
- Customer expectations
- Agreed project timelines

Proactively manage both:
- Client retention
- Renewal pricing conversations (excluding your own portfolio where relevant)

Maintain an up-to-date contact strategy plan focused on:
- Developing new business income
- Exceeding agreed income goals

Support colleagues by:
- Assisting clients alongside your own portfolio
- Addressing complex technical issues

The Skills You’ll Need
Core Requirements
- A strong customer focus, paired with professional qualifications in Health & Safety
- Membership of a relevant professional body (specifically, Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH))
- Extensive experience in a Health & Safety-related role
- A track record of providing advice for complex matters

- Prioritise and offer recommendations
- Expertise in:
- Leading business solutions
- Developing bespoke service offerings for customers
