We're recruiting for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join a well-established and recognised manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving safety standards across site while developing your own career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Working closely with operational teams and leadership, you'll help maintain compliance, promote best practice, and contribute to a culture where safety remains a top priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company standards
- Support and maintain H&S systems aligned to ISO 45001
- Conduct site inspections, audits and follow-up actions
- Assist with risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Investigate incidents, near misses and support corrective actions
- Monitor safety trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate and support health & safety training activities
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across the site
- Support internal and external audits
- Produce reports and analyse H&S performance data

About You
- Previous experience within a Health & Safety role
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and management systems
- Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business
