Health & Safety Coordinator - NEBOSH

Health & Safety Coordinator

Manufacturing or Industrial Environment

We’re looking for an experienced & proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing site and play a key role in maintaining and improving safety standards across the operation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys:

  • Working closely with teams on the ground
  • Driving a strong safety culture

[Key Responsibilities]

Core Tasks

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and internal standards
  • Sustain H&S systems aligned to ISO 45001
  • Conduct site inspections and follow up on action items
  • Contribute to risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Investigate incidents and develop preventative actions
  • Monitor trends and identify improvement opportunities
  • Deliver & coordinate safety training
  • Foster a positive, proactive safety culture across the site
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Produce reports on safety performance and KPIs

[Requirements & Qualifications]

Essential

  • Experience in a health & safety role, preferably in manufacturing or a similar environment
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 or integrated management systems
  • Strong understanding of UK/ROI health & safety legislation
  • Experience supporting audits & inspections
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Hands-on, results-driven approach
