Position Description
Help create a safer, more resilient future with CGI. As our Health, Safety, Environment & Business Continuity Manager, you'll play a key role in protecting our people, strengthening operational resilience and supporting sustainable business performance. Working collaboratively with teams across the UK, you'll lead continuous improvement, influence strategy and ensure compliance while helping CGI deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead CGI's Health, Safety, Environment and Business Continuity function, ensuring compliance with UK legislation while maintaining our ISO-certified management systems. You'll work with stakeholders across the business to drive continuous improvement, manage risk and embed a positive culture of safety, sustainability and resilience.

- Lead the Health, Safety, Environment and Business Continuity function.
- Maintain and continually improve ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22301 management systems.
- Develop HSE and Business Continuity strategies, policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments, ensuring effective corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Deliver HSE training and support managers in developing safe systems of work.
- Coordinate business continuity planning, testing and emergency preparedness.
- Monitor contractor compliance, including RAMS reviews.
- Produce performance reports and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
To succeed, you'll have significant experience in Health, Safety and Environmental management, supported by strong knowledge of UK legislation and ISO management systems. You'll be an effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive continuous improvement and manage multiple priorities. Experience in Business Continuity Management is highly desirable.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Significant Health, Safety and Environmental management experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Experience developing HSE policies, procedures and management systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
