Health Safety Environment Coordinator
HSEQ Coordinator | Cardiff

We are looking for a dedicated HSEQ Coordinator to join one of our thriving businesses in Cardiff. This role is perfect for a safety professional currently working within a large practice who feels ready to take the lead, implement their own rhythm, and manage the health, safety, and environmental standards for a growing company.
You won’t be reinventing the wheel—we have a comprehensive library of templates and assessments ready to go. What we need is your energy, attention to detail, and drive to manage it effectively.
The Role
Based in our Cardiff office, this position involves office-based duties with occasional site visits and night away support to help our site teams as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Documentation:
- Prepare project-specific RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
- Develop Construction Phase Plans and COSHH assessments using our existing libraries
- Engagement:
- Deliver site-specific Toolbox Talks
- Meet with client H&S representatives to ensure adhesion to safety protocols
- Compliance:
- Conduct site inspections and audits
- Investigate and respond reactively to incidents and near misses
- Delivery:
- Support Project Managers in collating Operational & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
- Ensure smooth project handovers

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified: Hold of a NEBOSH qualification (General or Construction)
- Ambitious: Prefer someone with experience in a larger safety consultancy looking for more autonomy and ownership
- Local: Must be based in or around South Wales, with a full UK driving licence

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
